A British love at first sight

Meet Camille, the neighborhood's beloved bookshop owner. She's the favorite of all the kids who come to stock up on manga and collectible figurines. On the other side of the wall, there's her neighbor Mackenzie, the Englishwoman who runs the clothing boutique. Then, across the street, there's the guy she deliberately tries not to remember the name of - handsome yet frustratingly stupid, a reminder that nature always maintains its balance.

Camille has an aversion to reading and manages to mess up all her romantic relationships. Mackenzie's no better in that department. Luckily, Camille, a pure Parisian, thinks she's English and she's going to lead Mackenzie on an emotionally charged adventure. Nothing could be more normal when one is on a quest to avenge Joan of Arc while attempting to embrace Englishness, and the other is fervently avoiding a Christmas visit to her parents, only to end up accompanying Camille there, who, of course, will distinguish herself, as a French, worse a Parisian.
