Stuck in a cottage for five years with no escape, anyone would go insane. I surely did.
But what happens when you get out? What happens when you're let out in a society that has no idea who, what, or where you came from. And it's not like you can say you came from a magic cottage that had basically everything except humans and electronics. They might send you to a mental asylum after that, and that wasn't what I was looking for.
Read as I make friends. As I make mistakes. As I cook disasters in the oven, and even masterpieces. After all, what's life without the good and bad food?

64 parts Complete Mature

To Kade Sanford Black, falling for his best friend Xanthie Lorenz, a serious and drop-dead handsome songwriter, was a line he did not want to cross. Knowing all too well the huge possibility of losing the only person who could see through him, he took a step back and put a distance to sustain their friendship - especially since Xanthie is soon to marry. Will Kade be able to hold back his feelings until he sees Xanthie married? Or will he finally have the courage to confess his feelings...and risk losing the only friend he has?
