Village destroyed by Viggo and on the run on a moonless night, you land on what you think is deserted island. You couldn't be more wrong. Is there any chance of making it out of this? Will you be able to find friends in the unlikeliest of places? Will the Dragon Hunters win?
This is both a HiccupxReader story and a Hiccstrid story, but Astrid herself doesn't appear until the very end. If you've seen the episode, you'll know what I mean.
Heavily based in the RTTE episode: Stryke Out. This is my first story in over 10 years and my first fanfiction ever. Please enjoy and feel free to leave comments.

If he so tried to convince them. No one would listen to him. Not even his own father. But he wasn't running away with just Toothless but with Astrid as well. After their romantic flied which also change her view on dragons, and their discovery of the red death, Hiccup was still planning to run away even though he have just finally friended an actual human, he decided to tell her so he don't have to let her worry about him leaving without a word in the next day. When he finish telling her his plan and surprisingly to hiccup and even Toothless she beg to come with and she also told him her reason. Turns out Astrid Hofferson was abused and pressured by her own family. She have enough of it, Hiccup didn't really have yes as his first nor second choice but she beg him until he gave up and let her tag along. What would happen to them?, will this new path that choose was path to a bright future?,will something spark between them? (Obviously). What would the village have to say about this?
