When All For One takes things a step further in the battle of Kamino Ward, Izuku loses sight of himself and his sanity breaks momentarily. He creates an irreparable problem to fix, but he doesn't give up even if he feels as though it's his fault, and he's not alone. Their journey will ultimately lead them down a different path, but they don't regret it at all.
MAJOR spoilers for ALL of MHA. DO NOT READ if you haven't caught up.
This was originally supposed to be v!Deku LMAO but Paradigm Shift was the successful creation of that idea... This is more "I fixed everything in canon" with a bunch of comic relief and also Izuku singing horrifyingly because my chaotic ADHD brain wanted it.

Falling (Depressed Deku Fanfic) (COMPLETE)
Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone. He needs someone so badly. But what if there isn't anybody to help Midoriya? How will Midoriya cope when someone close to him dies right in his arms? Warning!
