When All For One takes things a step further in the battle of Kamino Ward, Izuku loses sight of himself and his sanity breaks momentarily. He creates an irreparable problem to fix, but he doesn't give up even if he feels as though it's his fault, and he's not alone. Their journey will ultimately lead them down a different path, but they don't regret it at all.

MAJOR spoilers for ALL of MHA. DO NOT READ if you haven't caught up.

This was originally supposed to be v!Deku LMAO but Paradigm Shift was the successful creation of that idea... This is more "I fixed everything in canon" with a bunch of comic relief and also Izuku singing horrifyingly because my chaotic ADHD brain wanted it.

He asks himself, if he could truly be a villain, even thought he always wanted to be a hero? Summary; At the age of 23 the heroes Deku and Dynamight are on a mission together when feelings come out, messy and sloppy, terrible confessions later hurt and angry they turn away because of their inability to communicate with each other. It goes so far that Deku can not even bring himself to call him Kacchan any more, now calling him Bakugo much to the confusion and concern of their friends and coworkers. Everything changes though when as usual Deku doesn't think and moves, his need to save Kacchan, his Kacchan, driving any and all other thoughts from him, he dies in Bakugo's arms. Hours passed but Bakugo can't move from that spot, on his knees he just holds Deku's limp, lifeless body in his arms. Deku's last words repeating themselves over and over in his head. Tear tracks could be seen by anyone who dared to look at the broken hero in his grief. Suddenly time seems to stop, when he looks up he sees rain floating as if frozen in time, a woman shrouded in a green hood stands in front of him, most of her face covered by her hood, he could only see her mouth and chin. "Do we have a deal, Hero?" She asked her voice closer to bells than that of a woman's. "I have a condition, I can't ever see him die again. Give me his injury and let him live," Bakugo's words hung in the air and a clap of thunder rang in air when before there was none, there was now a flash of lightning above them, also frozen in place. "Deal."

This is basically a "what if" story of what would have happened if Izuku had never talked to All Might. This story progresses kind of slowly so it's going to be a bit long.
