A turning of the age is nigh. The scrolls foretold the return of this ancient foe, but none listened or wanted to believe. Alduin has returned. Now, the tyrant's rage can be exacted on those who thought him dead, and none can stop him. All except for one. A lone khajiit will have a new destiny thrust upon him, granting him the ability to consume dragon souls and kill them for good. William must rise to the challenge because if Alduin, The World Eater, wins, no soul will be safe from his ravenous hunger.

The Song of Deirdre Part I

15 capítulos Concluído

Deirdre Morningsong returns to Skyrim seeking vengeance on the Nords who murdered her parents, only to be captured by Imperial soldiers who mistake her for a Stormcloak rebel. After escaping both the Imperial dungeons and the destructive return of the dragon Alduin, she resolves to discover what strange power is within her, and what the dragons have to do with it. Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series of games, copyright by Bethesda Softworks. The image for the book cover is from the game. I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters). I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand. I'm hoping that writing this fanfic will be a bridge to doing more of my own fiction.
