Story is heavily different from S8 of AGOT. After Cersei Lannister wins the war against Daenerys Targaryen, killing her and supposedly Drogon, though his body was never discovered, reconciling with Jaime, she's in the last weeks of her pregnancy. The prophecy haunts her, however, wondering if this child would die. Meanwhile in Essos, a young man claiming to be Aegon Targaryen, son of the dragon prince Rhaegar and true heir to the Iron Throne musters his armies, supported by the magister of Pentos, Illyrio Mopatis and Lord Jon Connington, best friend of his father, who is enthralled with the young man (only Illyrio is in the show, AT and JC are in the books).
