Dean is a mind reader in the year 2033 after an American scientist's failed experiment turned into a virus. That virus wiped out most of humanity in a matter of weeks, leaving only animals warped into monsters and humans with special abilities. However, for the first time since the virus began, Dean meets a person whose mind he 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 read. Determined to find out why that is, Dean confronts the stranger, who he finds out is called Castiel. Before he can get to know more, though, the two are forced to flee to a bunker when one of those vicious monsters comes after them. For days, they're locked together there because the monster wouldn't leave.
