Jake and Hailey don't remember how many months it has been since their friends Sean and Daisy committed suicide on the same exact morning. Jake and Hailey were the ones to find their dead friends.
The saddest thing is, that they never got to tell them how they really felt about them and that all of a sudden, thousands of reporters try to get information out of them and their family's about the deaths of Sean and Daisy.
One night, Hailey can't take it anymore. Daisy and Sean are brought up everywhere she goes. She can't have a single second of peace in which she could be able to cope with the situation. Instead, she's always being stressed into thinking more about it. So, Hailey decides to try and kill herself. She wants for all this to just stop.
Luckily, Jake finds her in time and stops her from killing herself. That night, a mysterious voice tells them that they get another chance to save the ones they love...
The next morning, they realize that they've travelled back in time to exactly two months before Shawn and Daisy's death. They decide that they will save their best friends this time. Whatever it takes...
Will they be able to save their friends? Or will Sean and Daisy die again and leave Jake and Hailey to suffer the same pain all over again? And what will happen when suddenly certain secrets their friends had start to be revealed one by one? Find out!

The thought of being gay frightened him. Especially, because of his father. Since the day his younger sister and mother died in a car crash Drew had to live with his father. This lead to Drew's father drinking heavily and becoming aggressive towards Drew blaming him for everything. The only happiness that was left for Drew was Jake. Hailey Austin was a happy 7 year old. She had two loving parents, Sara and Michael. She had a safe home and environment to grow up in. One day, her Father picked her up from school with terrible and shocking news. Her Mother had died in a car accident while visiting Hailey's grandparents. Hailey and Micheal slowly adjusted to being alone with eachother, and eventually got over the sad loss. Now it's 10 years later. Hailey is now 17 years old. Her Father had gotten remarried when Hailey was in late grade 1, to a nice British woman named Shannon, and Hailey now had a step-brother and a little half-sister. She was continuing to live her life happily. But as November approaches, Hailey is being reminded of her mother's death, 10 years ago. She began to become stressed and closed off. On top of that, people have been leaving her notes in her locker telling her to die or change schools. She doesn't know whether to seek help from her friends, or to leave them out of her home life.
