Elizabeth Brunner is a beautiful girl in grade eight. She has a lot of friends and gets good grades. Andre Brunner is a smart boy in grade seven. Just like his older cousin, he has a lot of friends. They seem to be best friends, always hidden away in a corner and sharing little secrets, or seeking each other at lunch breaks. It seems friendly enough, just cousins having fun together.
But it all gets twisted when Lizzie older sister, Sandra, goes missing, and Lizzie's actions begin to warp and she seems off.
That's the moment when everything falls apart.

This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
