I honestly didn't realize how broken I was. I just figured that if I shut all my feelings out that they would go away. They didn't. They came back strong as ever. And I did the worst thing that I could do. I let my feelings get the best of me. My daddy told me to never let anyone walk over me. And yet that is exactly what everybody does. We were watching TV, my father and I, waiting for my mother to come down. We were going to go somewhere for my birthday but it was a surprise. I was so excited and so happy. I couldn't wait. We heard some noise. My mother was there but she didn't look so well. "Meredith, what's wrong? Are you Ok?" He asked. Then I saw a red patch on her chest and a huge knife across it. "Mum!" I yelled running towards her. "It's gonna be Ok, sunshine." He said. We were both crying. We had her in our arms. "I love you both." She said weakly. And she died. She actually died. My own mother died. We cried. Then we heard another noise. We looked up to see a tall strong guy. He was scary. "Get up!" He ordered. My father held me tight in his arms and obeyed. He pulled a gun at him and shot him. "Dad!" I yelled. "Dad." I cried. Why was this happening to me? "Get up!" The guy ordered me. I listened. He pointed a gun at me. I was so scared. Using E L James Characters for this story line. Anastasia Steele was adopted by her step father when he married her mother. Her stepfather took custody of her after being abused my her mother and her new husband. He was a career military man. He already had her passport and everything for her to travel with him. So.she basically lived on military bases all her life. Mostly out of the country, so she learned various languages and knew about a lot of different cultures. She attended various universities and worked part time as a tour guide. She went between England and France mostly. Sometimes she would be asked to fill in in Greece or Italy for the tours. Her father was making sure she had a place on base with him until he was rotated back to the US. He was holding on until she graduated from both colleges. Which would hopefully be soon. Christian Grey was a big pain for his parents so they decided a family vacation was in order. In this story he and Ana are the same age. Ana had been giving tours since she was 14. She was a smart mouth 15 year old daughter of a no nonsense military man. She took no prisoners when standing up for herself and others.Complete
