Vigilant

I’ve always had an obsession with superheroes. I don’t know why; maybe it was the powers, the humbleness, the self depreciating righteousness… But as I grew older, I came to realize that my view on heroes was childish, I mean, there aren’t any mysterious masked vigilantes with super powers or strange gadgets out there. But deep down, I think there’s always been a part of me that’s been hoping that maybe, just maybe... I’m wrong.
Now, I’m beginning think my life is turning into a comic book- except there's one problem: I don’t want to be a superhero any more.
