In this world, approximately 60% of the global population is born with a Quirk. A superpower that defines their social standing and career. Quirks range from the magnificent elemental control, superhuman strength to the mundane like minor telekinesis, intensified senses.

However the remaining 40% are viewed through a lens of systemic prejudice and pity, if not outright contempt. They are treated as an obsolete evolutionary step, a drain on resources, in the eyes of the empowered, worthless and expendable.

Though officially protected, laws are weakly enforced, and "accidents" involving the Quirkless rarely result in serious investigations or charges against the Quirked. "Quirkless people are useless." "You'll never amount to anything." Torment is brought upon those who are less fortunate. Those who are gifted are given praise and love. What can you do, that's just how the world works.

But what if it didn't have to be that way, could a single person change the mindset of an entire planet? Y/N is a 16 year old quirkless boy living in the heart of a major, Quirk-dominated city. Yet despite that he's made it somehow he's made it into the world's most prestigious Hero academy.
