Twelve years after the defeat of Ranrok and ten years after graduation, ex-Auror Gianna Eversley, finds herself back at Hogwarts, this time as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor. It was as if he disappeared off the face of the Earth after their bad breakup. Or worse, perhaps he was dead. 

At the castle as she battles with her internal struggles, Gianna also finds herself on the forefront of a deadly investigation. One that is threatening the entire wizarding world. 

Will this new chapter in her life open old wounds she tried so hard to close off? Or will it bring old friends, enemies, and lovers back together to finish their stories?
