"Do you really promise to let us stay with you?"
"You live here now," Harry said, crouching down. "With us. And nothing is going to change that."
"You promise?"
"I promise," he whispered.

Jennifer, Jasmine and Alicia Scott hate everything. They hate other people; they hate where they live; they hate pretty much anything that they know of.
Orphaned at a young age, the girls now live at a Home-with-a-capital-H. All three have bad habits like swearing, sassing, selective deafness, disrespectfulness, not helping out, nightmares, bottling up and exploding and did I mention swearing? They are all on their own entwined paths to destruction and everyone seems to have given up hope.
After many previous failed attempts at fostering or adoption, they have come to the decision that everyone is trying to screw them over, and that they won't get adopted ever again.
And then one day they get adopted again. By five guys. Who are apparently famous. And they now have to finish raising three teenage girls. Good one, 1D.
The girls all have their own issues, and can't stand any of the boys.
But with a careful recipe of love, kindness, discipline and of course music, can the guys teach the Scott sisters that maybe the world isn't out to get them?

βNo, Niall, you don't get it! Our mom left me at a fire station and caught the next flight back to you. You grew up with a family, you got baby pictures and warm sweaters. You had a home. I didn't. I guess she thought she was setting me up for a better life, one better than whatever she gave you, but it wasn't better. What do you want me to say? I was left, I was abused, I have one leg. I'm damaged goods. You, and the rest of the boys along with you... you have to learn how to be okay with that.β

When Mickey is nearly 16, she survives a car accident that kills her best friend. After, her life takes a 180. She meets her brother, and the rest of One Direction along with him. Things begin to look up. Living with a boy band on tour, and eventually in London, was never the future she imagined. Getting scouted by SYCO was never the future she imagined. But it was a future she didn't mind. Mickey finally gets a taste of the happiness she never had; family, love, a home worth going home to.
But 16 years of damage had already been done. Mickey meets the boys with one and a half good legs, a broken smile, and nightmares so bad she'd rather not sleep.
Are five singers fit to be a family? And even if they are, will Mickey Horan ever be able to let them in?
