As the wedding ceremony between Daenerys and Khal Drogo takes place in Pentos, Daemon Targaryen, the brother of Daenerys and Viserys Targaryen, is in attendance. Daemon, being the rightful owner of the ancestral sword, Blackfyre, is unwilling to give it up to Viserys despite his demand for it. As a result, their disagreement leads to a violent altercation that leaves Viserys with a permanent scar, severing any trust he had in his brother.
Shortly before the wedding proceedings, when Illyrio presents Daenerys with the dragon eggs, he pulls Daemon aside to speak with him privately, away from his siblings, indicating that he has something important to discuss with him.

The Black and Red Dragon
The Blackfyres and Targaryens have fought many times against each other for the Iron Throne. Maelys Blackfyre was the last one to try and conquer the Iron Throne during the War of the Ninepenny Kings. Daemon, his cousin, was also killed by Maelys in order to get control of the Golden Company. Unbeknownst to Maelys, Daemon had a son called Aegon. Aegon fled after seeing his father being murdered and set out to travel among the Free Cities of Essos. After a few years of mercenary work, he settled near Volantis and started a family. Now his daughter, Visenya Blackfyre, is going on a journey that will change Westeros and Essos for generations. ~ I do not own Game of Thrones or any of the characters except my own~ I like to thank bobissocool11 for creating his book 'A Dragon's Flame'. It inspired me to write this story and it may have some overlap with that story. I highly recommend you read his/her story. Lastely, this is my first story ever. I hope you will enjoy it.
