Violet was a kind 5 year old girl. She loved doing things any normal girl her age loved to do. Play with dolls, roll in soft, green grass, and have tea parties with her stuffed animal friends. But when her and her mother were involved in a horrible accident, her mother was killed, and Violet was left permanently incontinent of the bladder. Her father's drinking habits made him unable to care for her, so her brothers had to step in.

Louis resists but gradually embraces it, sinking into an addiction to the comfort it provides.
