Adrift in wander
By james a. galgano
Here an endless trail of bleached bones lead of into horizons by design
Often traced by perplexed face peering off into where sunset bends
With no clear destination ever in clear sight one often waits for a sign
Drawn within passing clouds or upon unchartered sea who's current blends.
Into each twist and turn of inclement wave gathering strength yet quickly subsides
Upon bated breath fishing for lost souls adrift as we often find ourselves to be
In endless search for distant rainbow's bend well beyond all apparent light
There darkness gathers to pretend to discover a guiding star above shining bright.
Leading us to some fateful destination we never imagined beyond wildest dreams.
Hoping for some welcoming port or friendly harbor to welcome our entry so serene.
