In a kingdom where magic has been outlawed, Beth uses her magical abilities to make a living as a thief and criminal. When her love interest is arrested by the Silver Soldiers due to his own magical powers, Beth teams up with the resistance to rescue him. As she gets to know Chasen, a boy in the resistance, she begins to trust others and finds a sense of family among the orphans.

Meanwhile, Holden, the second son of the king who outlawed magic, is on a mission to find the thief who stole important documents that could end his family's reign.
