The Dar'Aliit have no family, and no clan. Clone trooper Kian remembers what it was like to have those things, but like the Dar'Aliit, they are now his past. A past full of tragedy, and death, and betrayal. A past that has left him jaded against the universe.
But the present also brings challenges of romance, new betrayals, and strangers all wrapped up in the one thing Kian does know: War. And where the past and present converge lies the ultimate choice for Kian: To remain Dar'Aliit, or to accept a chance at a new family?
