It's pretty tough being Monkey King's successor. With training with your mentor, working at Pigsy's, or just hanging out with your bestfriend Mei. Everything was peachy before some new villain came along. It was Macaque's successor, Mk. You were told he used to be some funny, kind, and dorky hero, but changed. You're curious to find out why, but Mk and his mentor's attacks on you and your friends keep interrupting your thoughts. Although, the more Mk showed up, the more different feelings grow between you and him. Not hatred, not pity, nor disgust. Wonder what it is.

The reader is MK's non-identical twin sister. When Pigsy both sent the two out for noodle deliveries, MK went to deliver his stack of noodles, while you did your deliveries, and while you did your deliveries, you found a staff, for a second, you thought it was Monkey King's staff, but it was black highlighted with gold. Without thinking, you picked it up and felt a surge of power through you, and that's when you met Macaque. He looked almost like Monkey King, but with black fur. He saw the staff in your hands and explained to you that only he could pick it up, but when he saw you holding it, he decided to take you under his wing, and make you his successor. So from that point, you trained to be a warrior and fought demons along with your brother. Successor AU (Monkie Kid story)
Plot: Mk, Mei, and Redson were all born in the same time period in this AU. So ancient China basically. Wukong raised Mk, Macaque raised Mei, and Nezha raised Redson. Wukong is sort of an obsessive yandere in this. His whole goal is to find wherever Macaque ran off to all these years. Macaque basically adopted Mei, even though he doesn't quite know how to be a parent. Nezha raised Redson, attempting to tame his firey anger and stray him from the path of villainy.
