In 2010, Skylar May, aged 15, auditioned for the X Factor after being pressured into it by her family.
Never did she think that a simple 2:50 could change her life this much. She got 4 yeses after the judges were amazed at how powerful her voice was. But at the end of bootcamp, she got a ‘no’ and was nearly sent home. But, she got called back with three other girls and they got put into a girl group, something the X Factor has never done before.
Skylar and the three other girls names themselves Little Mix and ended up winning the X Factor.
The girls quickly rocketed to the top of the charts worldwide and became the best girl group in music history, and the biggest group in the world.
