Dear Tony Stark

In which Kam runs into Tony Stark after escaping the Red Room and Hydra. After having no family for years, Kam finds herself getting along with Earth's mightiest heroes.

"Just tell me what happened during those years when you were dead. Were you some super-spy, or something?" he joked, but it brought me back to the past and the years I spent alone. "...kid....kid...kid!" He had a hand on my shoulder and let out a breath when I looked back up at him. I tried to forget about the flashbacks. I brushed his hand off and jumped back. He looked at me with concern and it made me uncomfortable. I stumbled back as everything began to spin. Dizziness washed over me and I reached out, trying to grab the wall or something else, just to keep myself upright. "Kid?" a voice dimly asked. I fell backwards as my eyes flickered open and closed. I could barely see Tony kneeling beside me. He swore under his breath. "Hey, stay awake. Keep your eyes open," he said. I could feel a hand on my back and I knew I was being picked up. But, I never was a good listener.
