When Javert wakes up after a nasty fall into the river, he finds that the ex-convict turned philanthropist that he has been hunting down for 20-some years was the one who pulled him from the river. As their relationship changes, both Valjean and Javert find that their feelings for one another may go beyond friendship. Trouble starts, though, when some old villains come up with a new, very dangerous ploy to make money at Javert's expense. Author's Note: Yes, I am an unnecessarily big fan of Javert and Jean Valjean together. Have a problem with that? Don't read this. Additionally, the first two and a half chapters are going to borrow very heavily from the book and musical, because I want to stay as true to the original in back-story as I possibly can, and it'd be nice if even non-Les Mis fans could read this and figure out what's going on. Rated R more for violence than for romance.

Enjolras begins a revolution for the people. He wanted things to change for them. Why did he do it though? Courfeyrac was a young student revolutionary. He was in love though. [ I do NOT own any of the characters except for Gabrielle! This is based off partly the novel written by Victor Hugo but mostly from the 2012 film version of Les Miserables. ]
