The day the money ran out was the day that life seemed to stop. Gone were the polite conversations and peace through the city. It was replaced with fear and a harsh government unknown to its civilians. Piper Abbott remembers the day better then anyone around her, even a decade afterward when her city is plunged into poverty she still remembers. Things have changed since then, but subtly, not visible to the ordinary citizens of Salem. When Piper recalls something she shouldn't know about that day, she finds herself sucked into the secrets around her. It's not fun and games anymore when she finds herself a part of the mysterious government that seemed to have disappeared with the money.
