Nothing like waking up in a unfimiliar place to begin with, but then not remebering how you almost died or your life before that? ya it's terrifying and Veronica Miller has first hand experience in that. Found half dead in a forrest by a family out hunting, Veronica struggles to remember what happened and the random bits of information that she does remember don't help in conversations much. Brought into a small town family, Veronica is welcomed by warm hospitality and falls for the youngest brother Allen very fast and the feeling is mutual. But when Veronica slowly realizes that she isn't exactly 'human' her life slowly spirals down hill as people start coming after her acusing her of a murder that she doesnt remember. These people are agents of the Council, The Seekers, and will stop at nothing to complete their job, and Veronica is the number one on their list.
