June receives a worrying call from an old friend in regards to her first and only love. Although they parted on bad terms, a love that ran as deep as theirs doesn't go away too easily.
London, England. January 20th, 2031
June is an adult now, her own person, she's built a life to be proud of. But a Monday evening in January has the power to awaken something that had been long forgotten inside of her, when she recognises a familiar face in a crowded room.

'See You Later' is a short story about second chances and timing. It is a piece that speaks to me deeply because I too have hopes to get another try with some things, some people.

This story is so so special to me and I'm terrified and excited and elated to share it.

How far would you go to protect the ones you love? A successful architect with a promising career in London, Brian's world spins out of control when the man he always saw as a second father betrays him in the most unexpected way. Left without closure, a year has passed and Brian is now more determined than ever to undo the harm done to the ones he loves most, his family. Even if that means riding the thin line between justice, revenge, and obsession... Immersed in his resolve, finding love again was the last thing on his mind. Until fate steps in and a chance encounter changes everything. Meeting Olivia again so unexpectedly, at his best friend's wedding, stirs up memories he had long ago put away. She'd been his first love, his kindred spirit - and the woman who left him without saying so much as a goodbye. Which doesn't make him want her less. He knows it, the moment she locks her deep green eyes on his. Even knowing it might be too late to repair what's been once broken, Brian refuses to lose her again and sets out to find a way back to her heart. But it's been more than ten years since their story was left unfinished. Will they get one last chance to make things right? Or will Brian learn that sometimes justice comes at too high a price? *** NOTE TO READERS: A full-length, standalone contemporary romance, Where the Stars Fall was previously published on Wattpad as Falling Home. This edition has been fully revised with added and edited content.

Kendall has always lived a quiet life in a small town in Illinois with her family, friends, and boyfriend Jordan. Her life had been mostly happy other than when her best friend moved away when she was 10. It took her years to get over that loss. Then several years later, tragedy struck when her father passed away suddenly and Kendall was forced to move with her mom closer to Chicago where she could find a job to support the two of them. Little does Kendall know that she is in for the surprise of a lifetime. From the book.... As he catches up to me, he grabs my arm swings me around and with one swift movement he ushers me into a nearby empty classroom with the lights off. He cages me in against the wall. His close proximity is making me dizzy and my mind is thinking very dirty thoughts. Wait no. I can't think like that anymore. "Kendall." He says hungrily. "You are mine and only mine. You drive me wild and no one else can have you." He says as he attacks my lips. It feels so amazing I can't help but kiss him back. I run my hands through his beautiful hair and he groans into the kiss. Man I don't want this to ever end. I feel drunk on him. I don't think I can let him go. He stops suddenly to finish his thoughts. "No one can make you feel like this. Or kiss you here...." He says as he kisses down my neck. I moan and he smirks pulling his face impossibly close to mine. "..or touch you." He says as he takes his hand and brushes it lightly down my arm and he snakes it back around my back pulling me even closer if that is possible. He finally stops at my ass which he squeezes delightfully and I hum in response. Warning: Contains graphic sexual content. Read at your own discretion. You will not be warned ahead of time. They're falling in love with their best friends, but past trauma and current taboos have a way of making everything more complicated. Will they be able to heal from their pasts? Or will they always see themselves as monsters? This story can be read as a standalone, but it is the sequel to both Light in the Darkness and Hashbrown and Crow. *There will be darker themes in this story and sexual content. The main characters all suffered abuse and neglect in some form, and they will reference it throughout the story in one way or another. People cope with trauma differently, and I hope that I respectfully represent that while still telling a story that is romantic fiction. --
