For Niko keeping his grades up was the most important thing in college. He also tried everyday to just get through his classes, go to work and then go home before doing it all over again the next day.

Until he ended up getting into a nasty mess with two girls from the student council. Which in his college were known to be a group of elite students who held their reputation to the highest standards.
