Sometimes the past can help the present and future. Sometimes there are memories that can be hidden or changed to help the individual. There can be a reason why memories fade or change to fit one's needs or views of the world around them.
Sometimes it helps going back to the early years of a person's life to see what has been done and to see themselves from different points of view and in a way that the person never experienced before.
And for one person, that is true as Martha Anne Johnson looks back on her earlier years to see what information can be taken from it to help defeat a threat that she doesn't know or can't see.
Because sometimes the past can become the future...
And can bring with it a world of...
Knowledge

(Edited) Turning 15 was supposed to be really awesome. You were close to getting a license and have some freedom. You could get a car. You were close to having a Sweet 16 party, even though sometimes people didn't. You could get a job soon and buy for your own things. And, you were closer to becoming an adult and had more responsibilities. Martha Johnson was no different than any other 15 year old. Well, that was what she had thought. On her fifteenth birthday, Martha figured out 6 things that had changed her life forever. 1. She was in a clan that could turn into Wolves in a designated area, her backyard. 2. There were 2 other clans besides the one that she was in, and they had been fighting for centuries upon centuries. 3. She had this big job to make sure that the three clans were working together to protect everyone and everything. She was the Almair after all. The Almair meant that she can shift into all three animals. They were the Wolf, her own form, Horse, and Tiger. And that explained the mysterious mark on her wrist when she had turned 15. 4. She was also the True One, meaning that she was the Keeper of the Stone and could actually kill the Dark Forces, which were evil creatures that were attacking her. 5. She had a twin brother who was a wolf everywhere. They were called Wolfins. 6. And finally, something or someone is trying to kill her before she finds out more about herself. Can she survive high school with danger always seeming to find her? Can she become the one thing that she thought wouldn't be possible? Can she figure out who was trying to kill her before it's too late? Find out, in 'The Year of the Wolf' (Completed and Edited) _______________________________________ NOTE: IF YOU READ THIS BOOK ON ANY OTHER APP BESIDES WATTPAD THEN IT IS COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. As Zaire and his children struggle to cope with their new lives and the past that continues to tug at their minds, drawing them back into its cold, unforgiving grasp, will they ever be able to find peace? There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! The ideal audience for my first book is actually between 12 and 16, but anybody older and interested in adventures, cultures and in getting more understanding into our multifaceted world is sure to enjoy the story. (The whole story has now been published, the only thing I'll still add is the final epilogue but the story is already available in its entirety.)

Being 20 years old and still only trusting her family and her only friend, Lisa, she doesn't know where to start. Sex doesn't need emotions and doesn't need for her heart to be involved. As for Blake, he'd seen Amanda for years without her giving him a glance. Working with her father as a mechanic, and her coming around now and then, made him curious about her. When they started sleeping together, he thought he had her but always waking up alone, he realized she had other things in mind. Amanda's finally an adult. What has become of her? Will she ever fully trust a man with her heart? Will she find happiness or will she continue to live her life being cold, heartless like some people call her?
