Magic was originally gifted to women for healing and protecting their families during the dark times while the men were away.
...Until a boy emerged, able to preform the arts. Resenting the women for refusing to teach him, he decided to steal the knowledge for himself. But this blind greed for power corrupted the boy and led him down a path of darkness. He became a feared sorcerer known as the Green Wizard. But he was locked away, punished for his misdeeds...

Saiyah, a girl forsaken by her family for having magic because it seemed to be the work of the demons. After a traumatizing run in the Green Wizard himself, Saiyah finally understood the dangers of being a magiker. In order to control herself, she is to be send to the Banthikaar Wizardry Academy to train.
But when a foe from the past makes a reappearance, Saiyah remembers the pain and everything that was taken from her.
So she must decide: Stay loyal to her newfound friends and learn to control herslef? ...Or give in to the darkness and risk everything to get revenge on the man who murdered her mother?

Midorika and the demonic incantations
She was born to save humankind. A world belonging to humans, was taken away by ruthless homomorphs. These are group of species who were genetically modified by the demons. They took humans as their enemy and tortured them for their amusement. These species also controlled magic belonging to different elements in nature. In this universe, the only one who held magic were the demons themselves. Homomorphs were partially controlled by the demons and hence had magic limited to a certain extent. The demon's sole purpose was to make Earth a living hell for humans. Amongst humans and Homomorphs, their lived an unknown species known as Zoladas. They resided on entirely different planet and no one knows why they existed. The only ones who can solve such mysteries were Saitekies. They were born when a homomorph marries a human. They had one of the legendary spirits known as the Phoenix spirit. A legendary spirit is acquired when a demon gains complete authority over a person and Saitekies were the only ones who can do that. Hence, they could use magic to an unlimited extent. No one clearly knows about the origins of Saitekies. Midorika herself was a descendent of the Saiteki dynasty. Every Saiteki serves a purpose when he or she is born but what was Midorika's purpose? Will she survive in the world which hated Saitekies? While staying with Joshua and his family, they starts to grow feeling for each other but none confess. Kaia's family arrive wanting to take her back, but Joshua refuses. Now, a young witch with a past to hide, tries to live a peaceful life in solitude, but yearns to attend the new mage academy. After a long period of laying low, fate would call upon her once again, this time in the form of a peculiar masked stranger from a faraway land. A/N: I started writing this as lore for my original character and it spiraled into a whole new universe with new characters. I don't really read much, so my partner helped a lot in terms of brainstorming and editing. It's written for fun, so have fun reading!

You have a pretty girl who, who always has an enemy, girl gets caught in the enemy trap, strong person defeats the monster and saves the girl. Happily ever after. The end. Roll credits. But here's the thing, you never see what happened to the villains, you never hear their side of the story, their backstory that caused them to do what they did. Maybe they were banished from the land, that's why they put Sleeping Beauty under a curse that made them sleep for a hundred years. Or maybe their family pressured them into think beauty is everything and they must be the most beautiful in the land to finally get the approval that they did something good, maybe that's why they poisoned Snow White to take her beauty. What if they just wanted to get revenge for Peter Pan taking their most valuable treasure, that meant more to them in the entire world, maybe that's why they had a growing vendetta over Peter Pan. There are many other reasons why villains did what they did, but, did these heroes ever consider that these villains had a family. Like how maybe Gaston might have had a kid who had to grow up with only one parent cause the Beast killed Gaston. Or maybe how Dr. Facilier might have had a daughter, but since he was locked in the shadow realm he never got to have that valuable father-daughter relationship with her. What if Disney is hiding something from us. The story of these kids who had to grow up without a parent or with the burden of being teased because of their lineage. Well, Disney, you may be good at making giant Marvel timelines and making us cry at the end of EVERY Disney Pixar movie. But I'm good at revealing your secrets.
