It's Linda here, You may not know my story, but I'm here to tell it in a way that might shock you. I've lived in Hawkins, Indiana, before, but in a hidden gem where many people didn't know I existed. My parents did not have the best relationship, which led to the decision to divorce. I had to say goodbye to my home of Hawkins and left with my mom to start a new life in Chicago, where I've been living for the past 18 months. Until recently, when I received an anonymous phone call stating that my father was in critical condition. He needed his daughter by his side.... as far as I know, I was his only daughter, but then I remembered all the letters my father wrote to me about having a new family in Hawkins, and I should meet my half-sister Robin who he tells stories to about me all the time. Without hesitation, I said the news about Dad to Mom, and she wasn't pleased; as much as he was my father, she never denied the feeling of hatred and betrayal that he caused her when they were together, and she never wanted to see him again. Still, I decided to go to say my goodbyes if need be.
