Y/n is on the Greene farm when this all started. She meets a man who is a bit older and quite shut off. Can she crack his shell? A main portion of the story is going off the show but I changed it in some places. I plan to make this story go on for a while. The first few chapters might be slow and written a bit weird I was getting the hang of it.
P.S This is a slow burner love story. As well a warning of maturity I'll let you know when it's coming.

Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. Living without the group that he has come to love, has left him as nothing more than a shell of the man he used to be. One day after a brutal fight, he stumbles upon a run-down shack in the woods. As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most.
