Her parents moved to Seattle from Seoul, South Korea before she was born. When she was about twelve years old, she saw a boy named Elvis Presley on the television, singing and swinging those hips. She became obsessed after that, listening to all his songs, watching the movies he was in, reading news article about him in the paper... Whatever she could do to keep up on his life. Now, six years after first seeing him, she finds out not only that her favorite star will be in Seattle for a movie that takes place near the new and tall Space Needle, but he's staying in the hotel that she works at! It melts Amy's heart when she meets him in person, but how will she react later on when she finds out that her favorite star may be falling in love with her? Disclaimer: I found out later that the movie was filmed in Seattle in September of 1962, not Spring of 1963. That was when the movie came out. We'll just say they filmed it in 1963.
