Lucya Volkov has always played by the rules. It's kind of necessary when any deviation could result in becoming a demon. But when another Fext, Roman Lysenko, shows up with a tempting smile and a perchance for getting in trouble, things start to derail a little quicker than planned.

Roman Lysenko isn't in the tiny town of Riverside for nothing. He's here to track down and kill a deadly pack of demon Djinn who are terrorizing Riverside and the surrounding area. It's bad enough that he's fallen for another Fext. Distractions weren't part of the plan.

Lucya and Roman can't stop fighting but they'll have to figure something out if they want to survive. Because someone wants them to embrace the demons inside of themselves and become the dangerous soul sucking demon Fext they were born to be...

Now all that someone has to do is wait for them to crack.
