"I guess only sad people can identify other sad people's grief. We know what we have to hide so we know where to look." --------------- Evie Moore is what you would call a regular girl but with a hidden problem; depression. Anybody who has been through this (or is currently going through it) would know that it is quite hard to fight off. In Evie's case when you have nothing to be happy about the fight becomes impossible and your attempts, futile causing you to act out and be the rebel you've always been. When a certain blue-haired Sienna Evans takes her in she starts to feel a flicker of happiness. Eventually when she meets Sienna's yellow-eyed friend Isaac Steele the flicker turns to fireworks. Dakota is just like every other 17 year old high school senior. Or that's what everyone thinks. Everyone sees Dakota as this funny, sarcastic, and caring girl. What people don't see is how much she is truly suffering inside. People don't know that the smile she always wears is completely fake. They don't know what's really going on at home. They don't see the bruises she has to cover up every morning. They don't see her having to step up to take care of her two younger siblings. She puts on a fake smile as soon as she walks through the school doors and slowly builds her walls up higher as each day goes on. She thinks no one will ever see past her facade...that is, until three new bad boys come strolling into town taking an automatic interest in Dakota. And one certain bad boy can read her like an open book. Will Dakota eventually let these three bad boys in? Or will she keep everything in until she finally reaches her breaking point?
