None of the students of Hope's Peak Academy expected to end up in an entirely different school- Despair Academy. The 16 students walked into the main hall to start their first day at Hope's Peak but suddenly woke up in an unfamiliar classroom with bolted windows. There seems to be no escape. They all grouped up into the main hall until they noticed one student hasn't woken up yet, our main character Shiro Kurai, the Ultimate Lucky Student. She got in by chance of a random draw.
