Oh boy here we go. This book might bring back your Banana Fish depression. It's an AU where Ash still gets stabbed by Lao but survives and goes with Eiji to Japan after he recovers. While walking passed an open alley they run into an 11 year old boy running from a group of men. Ash and Eiji stop them and help the kid back to one of their old hideouts and take care of him. They figure out his name was Josh and that he was kidnapped by those men. He got away only after they r@ped him. Upon meeting this broken and traumatized child, Ash feels moved to help Josh and other kids like him. Eiji is torn apart by the news of Ash's death. He locks himself away and begins to slowly fade away. When he finds out Ash is still alive he couldn't be happier. But now, after so long, after almost letting it all go every morning and night, how was he supposed to pick himself back up and just forget? He's been just as gone as Ash was.
