Natalie Potter and her twin brother Harry Potter have been living with the Dursley's from the time they were infants until now. Hogwarts has been sending letters and the twins eventually get out of the hell hole. Upon her arrival, a boy catches Natalie's eye. Draco Malfoy.

The story starts off in year one but after a few chapters, it jumps to year 3.

The hot tears were streaming down my face as I shook my head. I was suddenly met with a hard hand slapping me across the face. I brought my hand up to my lip and pulled it back to see blood.

Slowly, I turned my head to look back up at him. I was starting to shake and I knew a panic attack was coming. I had had these in the past but this one felt to much worse.

"Slate..." I started to breathe heavier. "I-I can't." My legs got weaker and the gave out as I fell to the floor.

"STEP AWAY FROM HER!" A strong voice yelled to Slate.

I couldn't tell who is was because I was having trouble breathing. I was crying, my lip was bleeding, I was in shock, and I was so confused.

I heard some fighting and then there was silence. "Natalie!" Draco ran over to me and knelt down to help me.

"D-Draco?" My eyes looked up at his.

"It's okay just breathe. Look at me and just breathe. Your alright." His words calmed me in a weird way.

"Everything is fine. I'm here now."

He refused to look at her. Alice clutched her sides. It was clear to her now. It was so painfully, obviously clear. He simply didn't care. She'd been living in a fantasy. A fantasy where she and the boy she loved would live happily ever after. Another sob escaped her lips. He wanted to hold her. He wanted to kiss her. Kiss her all over, tell her it wasn't what she thought, that things weren't what they seemed. "I thought you loved me." Draco snorted. And it was in that moment, Alice knew things were over. It was that moment her world tumbled down around her. In that moment, the stars fell like rain. She pushed past him through the door. Draco let out a terrible, mangled sound. A sob broke through his teeth. It was the kind of sob that shook your entire body. The kind of sob that made your heart falter. Hot tears stung his eyes as her last words played over and over inside his mind. He hit the wall with his fists. He didn't feel the pain. He hit it again. Again. Again.
