"I'm pregnant," she announced, and the table fell silent. "With his child," she said, pointing towards him, who was happily drinking his juice. Hearing this, he spit the juice onto her brother's expensive suit and started coughing.
"Wha-" she kicked him under the table with her sharp heels before he could say anything.
"We really love each other, Mother," she said nervously, while he looked at her as if she had grown two horns.
"How can you be pregnant?" he whispered near her ear anxiously.
"Shut up and act along,"
"You should have told me you were going to do this," he whispered as she looked at him guiltily and was about to apologize when he said, "I would have loved to get you pregnant." He smirked, now almost kissing her ear. "You know method acting."
"Be quiet, let me get us out of this problem," she gritted her teeth.
"Your problem, not mine."
"Whatever."
"Very well then," her grandfather said, bringing the attention on him. "Then you both shall get married."
