When tomorrow arrives, one watches how each succumbs into the descending night?
Then tomorrow becomes today with all broken promises left intact.
There is every heart with a thought or memory becomes prisoner always looking back.
Where we once hoped and dreamed to find some precious eternity, we long come true.
Before tomorrow comes just beyond the dawn arising with new view
One where hope still springs eternal even before or after the fall.
By then hopefully we know remain prisoner to anyone or life's beck and call
