Sa oras na maging itim ang lahat ng mga talulot nito ay maaari na siyang tanggapin sa Lualhati, ang mundong kanyang pinanggalingan na noo'y itinakwil siya. 

Makikilala niya ang lalaking puno ng pag-asa at pangarap na si Santino Alegre, na siyang magiging balakid sa kanyang maitim na plano.
