I muster up the courage to move away from his grasp, "Elias, I don't know if this r-relationship is going to work out. You said it yourself. We've tried this once and look at where it got us!"

Not even a millisecond has gone by before he grabs my chin and turns my face towards his own. His pupils dialating.
