Nelle's the new girl in school. Which was actually the last place she'd rather be, considering she was a little different than most kids. She loves photography and absolutely loathes the new town she lives in, mostly because it was away from her two best friends in the whole world. Nelle thought her life couldn't suck any more until a hunky hot shot hockey player waltzes into her little life like he owned the place. Cam's life hadn't always been great. His father is gone, and he's forced to live with two girls and no way out. Juggling a job, school, and his possible hockey career, he barely even has time to sleep, let alone do the inevitable...fall for the new girl in town. But after all, when life hands you lemons, make lemonade. "A dollar for your thoughts?" "I'd be rich if that were the case." "Well then what are you thinking?" "That I think I love you." After her best friend gets pregnant and her boyfriend ditches her, Meiko moves in to help raise the twins. Sure, she may hate the terrible lifestyle she has going on, from working an office job every day to hating men because they're shallow, but there's nothing a little alcohol can't fix, right? But suddenly an employee at the new ice cream shop, of all people, comes into her life and changes her perspective in a way she never thought possible.
