I ran after him, my vision getting blurry as my tears began to flow. He kept banging on the back window of the car, shouting things I couldn’t get because it was too muffled. I could see his eyes wide with fear and worry, and it made me cry more. But, because I was not born for running, it didn’t take too long for me to get tired. Kai quickly noticed that, the same time I saw those tears that gleamed at the corner of his eyes. “Kai! Don’t leave me! Kai!” I yelled, sobbed as my legs refused to move faster. “KAI, PLEASE! COME BACK! KAI!” For some reason, I knew that that would be the last time I would see him, so I willed myself to continue running even if it would kill me. When I saw him shifting away from the window, I almost lost hope, thinking that he listened to his parents and would really stop befriending me. But then I saw him again. He moved so fast and swift that he managed to open a side window before his parents could stop him. “Please don’t cry, princess! I will come back and find you!” His parents tried again to remove him from the window, but he almost hugged the edges for dear life just so they couldn’t. “YOU HAVE TO PROMISE YOU WILL WAIT FOR ME, RILEY!” “I promise!” A sob escaped from the back of my throat, so I gulped the huge lump that formed in it, and shouted with all the energy left in me, “I WILL WAIT FOR YOU! It was now nighttime and I returned to my room which was very dark. The curtains were closed, strange I'm sure it was open this morning... Whatever. I put my bag down and went straight into the shower. I didn't spend a long time inside cause I was very tired and wanted to sleep. It was an exhausting day, I searched for some work, but like usual I failed... I sighted. I went out of the bathroom with only a towel around my waist and started to sit down when someone pushed me into the floor. Shit! Who was that? What did he want? It was dark, so I couldn't see his face, but I still put my hands around his throat and started to strangle him a bit. 'W-Who are you and w-what do y-you want?' I asked trying to hide my fear that I miserably failed. '...' He still didn't respond, I was starting to loose control on myself. His silence was killing me and I started to shake in fear.
