Despite everything she was going through, Delilah refused to give up hope. She knew that Nathen would want her to keep fighting, and she was determined to honor his memory by doing just that. The subsequent mental and physical abuse she endured at the hands of Nathen's family only compounded her suffering. Nevertheless, Delilah remained resolute in her determination to find a way to heal and to move forward, no matter how difficult the journey might be.
