Life Breathing (A KNY/Demon Slayer fanfiction)

A small village lived in the valley in between the mountainside of Mount Sagiri and Kumotori, and for a time, they had lived in peace and free from any of the demon attacks that other villages have reported in the last thirteen years of Nikito's life, and with her mother, father, and two older brothers at home, she was to become the next village healer and to become their healer's student. Her life was perfect. One day, as she had been going to her friend Maki Tomoka's home, she was greeted with the scent of her friend's home slaughtered.

In fear of her own home, she had rushed back to find her mother, father, and brothers murdered and strewn apart the property. In fear she would be next, she had rushed into the forest, fearful of what would happen to her. Was it a joke? Some robbers who wanted to scar a girl's chance of beauty in life. It would be then one night, she would have been saved by the old Hashira, Urokodaki who believed he could train the girl and after the fate his last two Demon Slayer trainees he had sent to Final Selection, he had been skeptical on taking her in.

What happens in the two years of her training, would she begin to fight demons as a slayer, or will fate give her another means of a twist to her story. With her friends Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zen, Inosuke, and the other slayers and hashira, maybe she could make what was best out of a horrible start to her life on her own. Maybe... just maybe she would learn a new breathing technique that might save many lives.
