A glossy look fell over the Bird spirit's eyes.
 "What's wrong?" The fox spirit asked as she placed a hand on the bird spirit's shoulder. 
In the blink of an eye, the bird spirit leapt up, his large bloodstained wings blasting the fox spirit backwards. She glared down at the fox, leaping onto her as his hand shifted into a bird's claw, clamped tightly around the fox spirit's neck.
 The dragon spirit jumped in, grabbing the bird spirit, trying to yank him off of the fox spirit. 
"What in the name of the spirits are you doing?!" He yelled at the bird spirit.
The bird spirit turned towards the dragon spirit, his eyes glowing fire red. The dragon spirit's grip on the bird spirit's shoulder slackened as he backed away. A loud snap shattered the air. Everything froze around the spirits as if a spell had been cast. 
A grin crept over the bird spirit's face as the wolf spirit let out an ear-splitting scream.
