When reading Geoffrey of Monmouth's The History of the Kings of Britain I didn't like how Merlin dropped off the face of the earth without mention, how the betrayal of Mordred and Guinevere wasn't really elaborated on very much, and how Arthur only got a quick line saying he was taken to Avalon at the end of the ordeal with Mordred. In light of that and an assignment, I wrote more detail on those in what I hope is a style that keeps to the book's original way of writing. Enjoy!All Rights Reserved
