One faithful night she ventures to the night market to find something to make her stronger, more powerful... His name was Silco, and he offered Luz a potion to give her great power, with a price... it was called shimmer...

Luz quickly accepts and takes the shimmer and grows more and more powerful, becoming the most powerful witch in school! But when it wares off she quickly returns again and again for more, quickly becoming an addict.

Eda is a forty something year old woman with a eight year old boy named King, who takes Luz in to help her recover, but Luz is quickly struck with withdrawal, and will stop at nothing to get more shimmer, will her friends be disgusted by Luz, or try to help her through this ordeal? ______________________________________________________
