With her super-powered cousin out-of-commission, she is forced to fill in his shoes. If only being a superhero while in her junior year in high school was easier. By day, Barbara Gordon is a computer-science major at Gotham State University. By night, she becomes Batgirl, a vigilante who was inspired by Batman's heroism. While she was out of the spotlight for a long time, Barbara is back and ready to be Batgirl now more so than ever. With the boys of the Justice League out, Diana Prince, also known as Wonder Woman, is prepared to go into battle and serve justice. "Hazel." "What?" "My name." I swallowed hesitantly, afraid to shatter the silence between us anymore than I already had, "It's Hazel." The silence of the night made it seem as if someone breathing too loud could make the silence shatter into a million pieces. My voice was no exception, and I was terrified that if I spoke to loud, even one word, the it would shatter, along with everything in the room. The silence seemed to make my voice feel smaller than it was, so when I finally heard his footsteps again, it shocked me to hear how loud and distinctive each one was, as if the silence broke just for him. As if he ruled the silence. It's as if he didn't even view the silence as fragile, but a force that he had to over come. A legendary vigilante/anti-hero from the Rigby has decided to move to Gotham City and with in a week of his arrival. He has put Gotham's underworld on notice. That there's a new law in Gotham CIty. His. way of doing things are considered too old school to be used. He's dangerous with his dual ivory handled revolvers, Sharpes Buffalo Hunter rifle and his limited edition Henry and Winchester lever action rifles. But he's even more deadly with his fists and feet. But as he cleans up the streets of Gotham his way, he gets the ire of one Dark Knight and Company. Well, maybe everyone of the Bat Family. Except one. Barbara Gordon. Whose been following the gunmans career with great interest. But Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne and Alfred are wondering if there's another reason why she's following his career. Finally one night he was hot on the trail of Rupert Thorne and had him cornered in a high class estate in the hills. The Dark Knight and The Gunslinging Lawdog have their first encounter. But the Batman brought along his long time protege, Batgirl. After a close call with The Dark Knight, the gunslinger runs after giving a good bone breaking kick to Batmas knee. But leaves behind some blood from the fight and a matchbook with his fingerprints all over it. And who should pick up the matchbook and swabbed the small droplet of blood than Batgirl at the behest of Batman. The only trick is he asked for the blood. Not the matchbook. Now there are a few questions that are bound come up, One. Will this new city anti-hero join the Bat Family or will he be on Batman's most wanted list? And Two. Will Barbara Gordon find the mysterious gunman and be able to tell him how she feels and will he reciprocate?Terminé
