After a horrid war, Giovani becomes king of the Stratos region. While in rule he makes a law that when you are twelve years old you are to be put in a forest with many of kids and manage to survive for three years. One day, a girl named Vivi and her Zorua are thrown into this forest in which she calls "the death trap" and she doesn't quite understand why people are so accepting of this situation. As she goes on she catches more pokemon and notices strange things about the death trap. Is there more to the death trap than they're telling us?

But of course, the dark forces will seek to snuff out any potential light at the end of the tunnel. He's done his best to ration out food, give himself heat, and find sources of entertainment while confined in a small cabin in the middle of nowhere.
